Tronsmart It has many interesting items in its catalogue, but its special party speakers have probably become one of its most recognized products. Very recently we were lucky enough to try the Halo 200 here, a speaker very thought out for parties (and with a karaoke option) and now we will tell you about our experience with it. User experience
Let's make things clear from the beginning: this Bang Max It is designed for people who throw parties, lots of parties. Having that clear and therefore your user profile, we can move forward in telling you about our experience with this incredible speaker. And it is that Tronsmart has once again done a great job when it comes to designing his new equipment, a clear evolution of the Bang model that gains muscle and dimensions in order to now offer us an even more powerful proposal if possible.
As with the Halo 200, it is possible that the size scare you at first. Even so, its design invites it to be transported more than its aforementioned brother, as it has that characteristic old radio cassette design and a fairly visible and easy-to-grip handle (its lower area has a rubber finish) to move it with overwhelming ease.
We do not want to sweeten this test anyway: the Bang Max is a product relatively heavy but still it is transported without difficulty and you must think that the idea is not to take it all the time from one place to another, since its power is enough to leave it all day (and night –wink, wink-) in one place and reach everyone present in a large room or even outdoors.
We like the design, as we mentioned, because it has that air of the extinct boom box, although with modern and very rounded lines that give it the shape of a cylindrical capsule.
Its power is undeniable, with 130 watts with which there will be no lack of drive. In general, the sound quality is good, thanks to the work of the tweeters, medium tweeters and woofers that it integrates, although I invite you to play with its equalization options -available in its mobile app- to better tune the configuration that comes from series.
Regarding the aforementioned application, it is very simple: you will basically find 3 panels to control playback, set the equalization you want (you have predefined profiles and the possibility of modifying it on your own) and select vseveral more settings where are for example the LED modes. Also on this occasion, as in the Halo 200, you can choose a colored lights mode favourite, with three available options: Carousel, Deep Breath and Fashion Party -be careful, because by default the speaker comes with the lights disabled, you have to activate them from the app.
In the lower area you will find their connectors, perfectly protected by a thick rubber cover - remember that the speaker is waterproof. There you will have access to a USB port, another auxiliary as well as a microphone input and even a guitar input, with their corresponding sound volume regulators.
A relatively narrow base with a rubbery finish closes our review of its qualities, allowing it to be placed on any type of surface without fear of moving or slipping.
Is the Bang Max worth it?
Just as we told you about the Halo 200 at the time, this product is also Ideal for celebrations and if you are a person who usually organizes events and parties.
The equipment is powerful, offers a good finish and even its design is attractive, without this being the main thing in this type of equipment. Controlling it from your mobile is tremendously easy and having connectors for microphones and guitar undoubtedly provides an extra incentive for those who like to use them.
Its current price also accompanies the set, with a cost of launch of 179,99 euros. You can find it both on the Tronsmart website and on Geekbuying.
