Absences, delays and new video game releases in our weekly video summary

CoopTV talks

It has been an intense week as far as video games is concerned, so we have decided to bring you a video summary so you can see the most interesting news that has occurred in recent days. Do you want to find out everything related to the gamer scene? We introduce you The CoopTV Talks.

Video summary of the best video game news of the week

The first bombing of the week was an open secret that was confirmed. Sony PlayStation will not be at E3 for the second year in a row, and that means that PS5 will not be in the halls of the Los Angeles video game fair, at least not in a public way. This is a very important loss for E3, which is left simply with the Microsoft support, which has confirmed through its manager, Phil Spencer, that they will once again be present at the largest fair in the industry.

If you are a fan of Sony, the news of its absence probably made you feel terrible, and you may have even identified with the odd meme, but the week had more bad news to give us, this time, in the form of delays. We start with the Final Fantasy VII Remake delay, a new date that goes from March to April to add 37 more days of agony and suffering for all those who love the saga.

The problem is that Square Enix had more misfortunes to share, and confirmed that Marvel's Avengers, the Marvel game developed by Cristal Dynamics was leaving us until September, meaning a delay of no less than 4 months compared to the original date.

But if there is bad news that has hurt us especially, it is that of the new programming of Cyberpunk 2020, since CD Project RED has announced that the highly anticipated shooter with RPG touches will be delayed no less than six months to place its release date on September 17, a day that seems endless if we take into account that it was scheduled for September 16 of April.

But don't worry, our weekly review has also brought good news, such as the arrival of a very interesting update for DOOM, which has introduced gameplay at 60 FPS and the possibility of installing additional maps from the community, in addition to many other cosmetic and functional changes. We also talk about the spectacular amusement park that Nintendo will open in the summer in Osaka, Japan, and explain how visitors will be equipped with a smart bracelet to track their progress within the park.

All this and much more in Las Charlas de CoopTV.

Remember that you can see us live every friday at 19:00 p.m. (time in Spain) to review with us the latest news in the world of video games.
