Your Phone, an application that goes further
If you use a PC with Windows 10 and an Android smartphone, there is an application that you should already know and use almost as a requirement. I mean your Phone, a utility released some time ago that each time includes new and better features.
If you have a phone with Android 7 or higher, you will be able to use Your Phone. Just go to the Microsoft app store and download it, then from Google Play install the companion app. Once done, you can access your most recent photos, read and reply to text messages, use the keyboard, and receive and manage notifications. And now, in addition, you can also make use of two recent innovations that add even more value.
The first allows make phone calls from your computer. That is, it is exactly the same as the Handoff function, or Continuity in Spanish, allows the iPhone and Mac to do. So, if you want to be able to call any of your contacts or any other number without having to pick up the phone or simply answer calls from the PC you should install it.
In theory, this feature is activated by default as soon as you install the latest version of the app. But if it were not like that, you just have to go to configuration and check the option that will allow you to do it. Likewise, if for some reason you prefer not to have this option available, you can uncheck it and that's it.
According to the novelty, what it allows is to use the touch screen of your equipment, if it has one, as if it were a larger canvas to draw with the applications of your smartphone. That is, as if it were a Wacom, the advantage here is to have a larger screen and take advantage of the possible support of a pencil that it may have if, for example, it is a Microsoft Surface Pro.

Another interesting detail of this new feature, as this Microsoft programmer comments, is that if the application on your Android phone supports the pressure to use it through Your Phone, it will also maintain said support. This if you have a device like the Galaxy Note 10 is great. And now you may not see much sense in it, but again it is an interesting addition to be able to leave your phone charging or wherever you have it and continue doing everything you want.
