We already have a date to meet the Huawei P30 and no, it will not be at the MWC

If you still harbored any hope that Huawei surprised us with its next flagship at MWC 2019 -in fact, the Chinese company is going to hold an event in Barcelona next Sunday-, it's time for you to put your feet on the ground. The Asian firm has confirmed that it will not show the P30 at the fair, although in return it has already revealed to us date and place of his coming-out.

March 26 in Paris

The City of Light has been chosen by Huawei to present its next big star. The company has officially confirmed through its Twitter account that its P30 and P30 Pro phones will become official next March 26 in Paris (France), thus reserving a special and unique event for its large smartphone that already has a slogan in the form of a hashtag: #rewritetherules (rewrites the rules).

Although the Chinese firm will be at the Mobile World Congress 2019 holding an event, nothing should be said about the new P30 at this event, since it will have its own press conference a month later. Even so, we do not rule out that Huawei decides to give some clue or make some reference to the terminal, even showing some teaser on video to open your mouth.

In the tweet below you can see a brief animation of images of Paris such as the Eiffel Tower or the Arc de Triomphe zoomed in, offering great image detail. It is more than evident that it is a nod to the P30 camera that is expected to have a 10x hybrid zoom and an optical one of at least 5x, according to the first leaks and rumors. It would also enjoy a 40 megapixel sensor.

Other aspects of the phone being considered include a drop type notch and three or four sensors in the rear photographic system, depending on the phone model. The screens would be of type 6,1-inch and 6,5-inch OLEDs (P30 and P30 Pro, respectively), would have a processor Kirin 980 and up to 12 GB of RAM in the case of the P30 Pro.

And if the P30 and P30 Pro are presented in a month, what will we see in Barcelona? Well the expected foldable phone with 5G support. As you already know, this MWC fair will give a lot of prominence to the 5G connection as well as to the first folding type phones.
