The latest beta of WhatsApp for iOS brings us closer to a new and long-awaited functionality demanded by many users. We refer to use of the same account from different devices and without the need to resort to the web version of WhatsApp. This has been published by WABetaInfo after analyzing all the news of the new version.
WhatsApp could allow the use of the same account on different devices
Along with many other details, for some the main advantage of Telegram is that you can use the same account from different devices. This does not happen in WhatsApp, and you always depend on the phone in which you logged in is active and resort to the web version to use your account on another phone or tablet.
For some it may not be a significant limitation, but for others, and especially for those of us who, for some reason or another, use different phones from time to time, it is something more annoying. But it seems that all this could change. Although the company recently announced that it would include such support, now it is closer.
As previously announced, WhatsApp is developing a feature that will allow you to use your WhatsApp account on more devices at the same time. Chats will be still end-to-end encrypted because WhatsApp was developing a new method to assign keys to specific devices.

WABetaInfo has discovered in the latest beta of the iOS app, 2.19.120.20, that when access to your account is requested, a new notification arrives informing of it. The notice that appears indicates that someone has requested a verification code for your phone number. And also another notice where it tells you that if you have not requested it, do not share it with anyone.
Until now these messages did not appear and are a sign that indicates that WhatsApp will soon allow you to log in with the same account on different devices and without the need to log out of the previous one. Thus, in the style of Telegram, you could use the platform from two terminals and avoid setbacks such as loss of coverage or when the battery of one runs out.
Likewise, this change also offers greater security to the user since until now it was not known when someone requested an access code to your account. Therefore, in addition to being able to enable a possible simultaneous use in several terminals, it will also serve to improve user security.
Other news from the latest WhatsApp beta
Along with this, other new features included in the beta and that will arrive in the stable version in the coming weeks are the following:
- The home screen has been redesigned and now you can see the *rebranding* made by Facebook and that appears at the bottom.
- The icons have also been modified.
- Other details such as double checking messages also vary aesthetically
Let's hope that this option will not take long to arrive, which, as we say, for some may not be important but for others it would be a great comfort on a day-to-day basis.
I think it's great, no, the following
