This is the only actor to have been in every Star Wars movie.

Star Wars - C-3PO

Yes, we are going to talk to you again about Star Wars, but no, we are not going to do it to criticize harshly (ahem) The Rise of Skywalker. Instead, we are going to tell you something very curious: the existence of a actor that has appeared in all the films of the saga. Guess who?

Anthony Daniels, the soul of C-3PO

Taking into account that the first film in the central Star Wars saga was released in 1977, it is not so strange to think that most likely no actor has appeared in the 9 titles that are part of the story. In fact, this assumption almost holds, were it not for Anthony Daniels, who does have the honor (and almost a record, we would say) of being the only actor who has had the opportunity to participate in all the films in the saga, as well as in Solo: A Star Wars Story and in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,

Of course, most likely his face will not ring a bell. How is that possible? Well, because he is in charge of giving life to nothing less than C-3PO, one of the most beloved droids in the galaxy.

Daniels, an actor born in England in 1946, in fact helped George Lucas (director and creator of the first trilogy) to create and develop the character's way of being and his gestures, and from then on, until the Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker, has had the task of continuing to give life (and movement), in addition to his particular voice to this famous golden robot.

Although most of the time he has therefore been in the droid suit, Anthony has also enjoyed other stellar appearances within the Skywalker saga and outside of it. As for the first collection, he was in charge of interpreting the vigilante Dannl Faytonni in Episodes II and III. In the case of Solo: A Star Wars Story neither does he make his star character but rather Yes, a con man from the planet Coruscanti who worked as a slave in the spice mines of Kessel.

It should be noted a special case: at Episode I – The Phantom Menace, he only gave the voice to the droid, without appearing physically, since a figure controlled by a specialist was used instead of the usual costume that Daniel wore.

For his part, the actor has also put the voice as C-3PO in a host of officially released Star Wars specials -you can't imagine how many titles exist- as well as in the franchise's LEGO video game.

Star Wars - C-3PO

As you can see, it could be said that Anthony Daniels is completely camouflaged with the role of C-3PO, a character that has formed part of the great bulk of his career (despite the fact that he has made some external collaborations, from other series and films, a large part of his filmography (90%) focuses on everything related to the Star Wars universe).

Just two weeks ago Daniels participated in a talk, organized by Google, in which he talks about his experience within the saga for more than 40 years and that, of course, is recorded and uploaded to YouTube. It could not come better to close this article - the video is in English and has subtitles (in the same language). Enjoy it.
