Perhaps the possibility has even crossed your mind already. And it is that two chapters to finish Falcon and the Winter Soldier, many are beginning to remember that strong rumor that pointed out that Chris Evans was going to return to the UCM. You remember? Well now it's none other than Wyatt russell, the one in charge of "replacing" him in the series, who has added fuel to the fire in the same direction.
Attention: This article talks about the plot of Falcon and the Winter Soldier until episode 4, aired last week. Keep reading only if you are up to date or if you don't mind knowing details of the series.
Wyatt Russell, the "new" Captain America
Things have gotten pretty ugly on the Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes series. The Avengers have met John Walker, a new "Captain America" who has not hesitated to pick up the baton that Falcon rejected from Steve when he decided to hang up the shield and go live the life he always wanted with his beloved.
So far everything sounded more or less “okay”. The problem has arisen when Walker has been carried away by ambition (and his enormous inferiority complex) and has taken advantage of a surplus vial of the super soldier serum to thus acquire superhuman strength and abilities that allow him to be superior in his confrontations.
As we have already seen in the shocking end of episode 4, this has only caused the worst side of this superhero attempt to come to light, starring in a grotesque scene that has only shown that he is not worthy of wearing the captain America shield.
And now that? We know that Sam and Bucky will face him thanks to a new official advance released by Disney -which you can see on these lines-, but some believe that the Avengers will not be alone and that they could count on Steve Rogers himself (yes, with Chris Evans) on stage thanks to some statements by Wyatt Russell. what you are reading
Is Cap back?
If you remember correctly, a while ago there was a rumor that Chris Evans I was going to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor had allegedly said goodbye to his character in Avengers: EndgameHowever, a leak assured that he was in negotiations for a return whose fate was unknown for the moment. It could be for a movie on the big screen, a cameo also in theaters or a star appearance in some of the Disney + series. In this sense, Falcon and the Winter Soldier It is undoubtedly the most favorable framework: it is closely related to his departure and there is no episode in which he is not named.
Despite the fact that the information sounded strong, Evans ruled out this possibility and even Kevin Feige, CEO of Marvel Studios, was in charge of deny the rumor. Why is it refloating now then? Well, because of Wyatt Russell.
The actor was interviewed for BBC Radio recently and when asked if he knew Evans personally, he indicated that he did not directly but that he had been close. The grace of the subject is that Russell does not end his intervention there but rather he continues speaking and says that we have to wait for the end of the series and then people will go "oh wow":
Are we going to see @Chris Evans in the final episode of #TheFalconAndTheWinterSoldier?
Hmm. I wonder.
Honestly I don't know but I've been sent *a lot* of messages about it after my interview with Wyatt Russell – what do you think?

Have I met Chris Evans? I think so…. It wasn't like I was going to shake his hand, but I walked up to him somewhere and made eye contact. And that doesn't count... he counts as a stalker. That doesn't count as meeting anyone [laughs]. But, I guess so, I did… You just have to wait until the end of the series and then everyone will be like, 'Oh… wow.' You love it? You hate it? I don't know."
Has the actor gone off the tongue with such a statement? Will we see our beloved Steve Rogers finally back in the UCM?
