Last year Kevin Fage, president of Marvel Studios, confirmed what had been rumored for many months: there would be a new Thor movie in Phase 4 of the UCM, which would give continuation to Thor: Ragnarok. Since then we have been learning very little by little details of this long-awaited sequel that should hit theaters next year, if nothing goes wrong.
By supuesto Chris Hemsworth will get back into the skin of the avenger, accompanied by other faces that we also know from previous films: Tessa Thompson will repeat her role as Valkyrie -under these lines- while our dear Natalie Portman will return as Jane Foster, also becoming the goddess of Thunder, Mighty Thor. Portman was in fact one of those in charge of appearing on the scene, hammer in hand, when the announcement was made official, which undoubtedly generated great expectations among all the followers of Thor and his story (both in the comics and in the cinema).
Taika Waititi will take the reins of management again. The versatile director has already been in charge of directing Thor: Ragnarok (as well as a short called Team Thor) so he has a lot of experience in the field. In addition to directing, Waititi will once again also play the character of Korg.
Thor: Love and Thunder Filming should start this month of March. The idea is that the film will be released in theaters at early November 2021, with the participation of the aforementioned actors and with a surprise addition that we have just discovered: none other than Christian Bale himself.
