When we found out that Denis Villeneuve. would dare to adapt the important novel by frank hebert, enthusiasm and uncertainty seized us in equal parts. It is not for less. We are talking about what for many is the most important work in the history of science fiction literature, a story that, despite being so well known, has taken a long time to bring to the screen.
From projects that never saw the light of day to releases with very little success at the box office, Dune, it has always been wrapped in a certain air of complexity (as much as its universe is, of course) that has made us all tremble when we have heard any attempt at adaptation.
