The next Batman will be colored
As a Batman fan you will know that in the past The Batman costume has not been the exclusive property of Bruce Wayne. However all that now changes with the recent announcement made in Future State: The Next Batman #2.
This book published by DC was finally revealed Batman's new identity and although at first it may surprise you, the truth is that it makes a lot of sense and the story is pretty well spun for that universe that also expands within DC. But who exactly will that new black-skinned Batman be? Well, the answer is in Lucius Fox, but not him, but his son. Tim Fox, brother of Luke Fox (who also seems to have seen appear in the comics), will be the one who wears the Batman suit in this new stage that will help expand the DC universe in general and that of Batman in particular.
This character, Tim Fox, could be seen for the first time in DC comics in 1979, in number 313 to be more precise, and later in the anthology Batman: The Joker War Zone. However, it is very likely that few imagined that at some point he could become Gotham's new hero. Or the same hero, because for the citizens who do not know his real identity, he will continue to be the bat man, only incarnated by another person.
Will there be a future black Batman in the cinema?
With this movement one of those rumors that had been discussed for a matter of a year was fulfilled: the arrival of a black Batman in the DC universe. A move that some thought was just a matter of marketing in order to improve the existing idea of inclusion in DC stories. Now we see whether or not that was the intention, the truth is that it is very attractive to think about everything that this first step in comics could take.
Having a colored Batman could also be the way to reinvigorate the Batman franchise on film. Because although we await the new installment starring Robert Pattinson, one of the many faces of Batman in the cinemait would be interesting to see who could embody the role of Tim Fox for a future installment where one of the other recent actors who have brought the character to life could even appear.
