This set belongs to the LEGO UCS range. In case you don't know it, UCS is the acronym for Ultimate Collector Series and it is usually the hallmark that distinguishes certain special and selected products (generally from Star Wars, precisely), intended basically for the adult public, since they have a significant number of pieces -a quantity that generally the little ones do not handle or find attractive. LEGO already had an Imperial Star Destroyer in its collection of the saga (launched many years ago), but it has nothing to do with the dimensions and complexity that this larger replica now looks like.
The new LEGO Imperial Star Destroyer UCS will be available in two batches: a first, on September 18, for customers LEGO Vips, who will have access to the set before the rest of the mortals. The general public, for their part, will not have to wait too long either: it will be available to all interested parties from October 1st.
Needless to say, this Star Wars set won't be cheap. It is a special piece made up of thousands of blocks and with a considerable enough size for you to imagine since you have to pay a significant amount: nothing less than $699,99. If you just fell in love, you better go saving, young padawan.
