Do you remember that a while ago we told you that Netflix had removed its trial period free in Spain? Well, the platform seems to be making adjustments now to restore this possibility in Spanish territory. Of course, some conditions would have changed. We explain it to you.
Is the Netflix free trial coming back?
In mid-March we discovered that Netflix had withdrawn one of its most useful options for those who were considering whether or not to give it a try. We refer, of course, to the Free trial of the service, a facility that the content company offered to potential new users to be able to see if they liked the catalog and the dynamics of its platform before paying and subscribe.
When asked to Netflix Regarding this decision, the firm only managed to comment that they were testing this option -checking if people were encouraged to pay if they went through the test, wow- and that these tests "generally" had a specific duration depending on the region. Thus the door remained open to a possible return of this benefit, reassuring in this way those who still had the itch to try it and who now found themselves obliged to pay.

And so it seems that it could be. Our colleagues from ADSLZone discovered that the Netflix website was starting to show the free trial ad of his service, although, it seems that it was some kind of test and not from an official start-up. Because? Because depending If you enter via PC or from a mobile phone, the information that is thrown is different. From the first, there is no sign that a free trial is available, while if you do it from a smartphone or in incognito mode from a PC, in some cases -we have not been able to reproduce it, for example-, yes they appear notices that you will have a period in which you won't have to pay -look at the red button below.
Everything seems to indicate that the platform could be doing internal settings in order to restore this option but it has not yet been made official, hence it is a notice that appears inadvertently random way. In fact, if you enter the section of Netflix Help, it continues to be read that in Spain free tests are not offered.
Despite all this, the screen shots that we have allow us to anticipate different conditions to those we knew. Forget about enjoying a free trial month: the new period will be 7 or 14 days, according to the two types of images that we have been able to find on the web. We do not know if it is something random, that it will respond to the IP of the accessing user or if one of the two conditions will disappear, leaving the platform with only the seven or fourteen-day free trial.
What does seem very likely is that this offer I am back sooner rather than later, and those interested in launching on Netflix will once again have the opportunity to do so before making a decision. It doesn't hurt to know.
