Founded in the mid 80's, Studio Gibli is run by Hayao Miyazaki together with his friend and mentor, Isao Takahata. In its catalog it has very popular titles that have even been nominated for awards as prestigious as the Oscars, many of them resulting in authentic cult proposals for lovers of animated films.
One of the key features of the Ghibli essence is that his drawings are created in the style "traditional", without abusing digital techniques, which completely clashes with what can be seen now in his new film, Aya and the Witch, a proposal orchestrated in CGI.
