We (finally) begin the farewell to a less peculiar year and this always means one thing: that the time has come to summarize, reconsider and publish those very curious lists that the last 12 months of our lives have left us. One of the most popular, without a doubt, is Google, search giant that every year tells us what has been what interested us the most when entering your page. Do you want to know which movies the Spanish have searched for the most? Or what game has been sought the most internationally? Bets are allowed.
The most sought after internationally
As we said, the closing of the year always brings with it the traditional summary of google searches and this 2002, strange as it may have been, was not going to be any different. In fact, it is possible that we have spent more time than ever in front of the PC or with our tablet or mobile looking for everything, so this review could not be more curious and interesting to know what has most interested people in different scopes.
We are not going to review all its sections -for this you just have to click on "Source" (at the end of the article) and take a look for yourself- but we are going to look at those searches that interest us the most here. For example, related to games, where there is a clear winner: the addictive Among Us. This title is currently the trending game and has ended up hooking young and old alike with its friendly dynamics of crew members and imposter to such an extent that it is rare who has not heard at least talk about it in recent months.

As for the films, the "first prize" takes it Parasites, the fantastic South Korean film directed by Bong Joon-ho. The film was quite a revolution at the end of 2019 and among the many awards won, it swept the 2020 Oscars, winning the award for best film and making history with it -for the first time a foreign film won the most coveted American award in the cinema.
The second most searched title has been 1917, Sam Mendes's proposal with a single sequence shot format (there are actually 2 hidden cuts, but it is still a true technical feat) and the third is for Black Panther, undoubtedly as a result of the sad death of its protagonist:

As for the TV series and shows, it is also worth noting the searches for speak of a clear winner: Netflix. And it is that in the top 5, four of the most sought-after titles belong to the content platform. Crazy:

The most searched in Spain
For the selection of the most sought after in Spain, we find other categories different from the international ones but equally curious. Many of them do not concern us here (recipes, education...) but it is still interesting to take a look at what has interested us the most in 2020.
Without going too deep - remember, you can go to "Source" and see everything - our biggest concerns have been related, how could it be otherwise, with the COVID-19, with searches such as why it is called coronavirus, how to make a cloth mask, how to make homemade bread or why people buy toilet paper (Ahem).
In the section Cinema, tv and series, the vast majority of searches are related to very diverse national proposals (but where the reality component rules) and only in fifth place does a title from a series... from Netflix sneak in -how strange.
