This video of Baby Yoda dancing is all you need this Christmas

Baby Yoda - Grogu

With the closing of the second season of The Mandalorian we have been orphaned of his great stories and especially of the key character and who has brought about the revolution of the series: Baby Yoda. Now we have to wait practically a year for Jon Favreau's proposal to return to Disney +, but at least we can always say that in this rare and atypical 2020, Yellow he said goodbye to us to the rhythm of a guitar with a video that is going around the internet. Don't know what we mean? Well, you are already taking time to continue reading.

spoiler warning: This article talks about the season finale of The Mandalorian 2, so if you're a fan of the series but haven't seen it yet, we recommend that you go no further - and watch the episode as soon as possible!

See you soon, Baby Yoda

Many of us thought that the story between the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda would stretch much further in time -after all, this creature has become the undisputed star of the series-, but it seems that Disney He has other plans for this fiction. Or that is at least what it has let us know after the great end of the season that we experienced just a few weeks ago on its content platform.

And, although The Mandalorian will have a season 3 (already confirmed), everything seems to indicate that Grogu will no longer appear in it. In episode number 16, baptized as The Rescue, we see how the very same Luke Skywalker (what a great moment) to meet Baby Yoda to take him away and start the Jedi training he is destined for. This provokes one of the most emotional and tearful farewells of the star wars storya This Djarin (played by Pedro Pascal) who manages to take off his helmet in front of everyone so that his short inseparable companion can see him and touch him for the last time.

Baby Yoda

Does that mean we won't see the creature again in the series? At first, everything seems to indicate no, since he will be training at Skywalker's Jedi school, although who knows if Disney will be able to rescue him at some point in the Season 3, now fully aware of the character's success - remember that the first two seasons were filmed continuously, so at that time she was unaware of the magnitude of the popularity that Grogu would finally receive.

At least, as we say, we will always remember that Baby Yoda is fulfilling his destiny in good hands... ah! and a nice image of the creature dancing to the rhythm of a guitar. what you are reading

Grogu and the guitar of Robert Rodríguez

It turns out that one of the many directors that the Disney + series has had, Robert Rodriguez, uploaded a short video to his Twitter account a few days ago with a very special guest. This is Baby Yoda, who appears dancing (in his own way, of course) to the rhythm of the music played by the Director with a Spanish guitar.

It is a short recording, barely 19 seconds, but enough for everyone to have fallen in love with the nice scene that was recorded when Rodríguez directed episode number 6 (or Chapter 14, depending on how you want to tell it) of the second season, baptized as «The tragedy«:

"Here's a Christmas present for all of you who were wondering what it was like to hang out with Baby Yoda on the set of #TheMandalorian #TheTragedy. […]»

As we said, the video has not taken long to be made quickly viral and, at the time of writing these lines, it has accumulated almost 50 retweets and more than 158 likes, not counting the almost 2.000 responses and many thousands of other tweets quoted.

And it is that we already knew that Grogu had The Force inside him, but the rhythm... they had not told us about that until now. What a surprise.
