Why isn't it still called "Wandavision"? There is an explanation.
Wandavision, one of the most anticipated series
Since we heard about Wandavision It has undoubtedly been one of the projects that we have most eagerly awaited for this 2020. An unexpected name change
Until now, Disney+ Spain itself, the platform on which the TV series will be broadcast, had referred to this project as Wandavision. It was therefore clear that the company had decided to keep this title in Spain, on the other hand quite catchy and easy to remember. However, as we pointed out, the unveiling of the trailer brought an unexpected announcement: the name change to Scarlet Witch and Vision.
The fans, who were eagerly awaiting the arrival of news about the production, were quick to comment on the modification on social networks and complain (which is what Twitter is for, let's not forget) to the official Disney+ Spain account. It was then that the content service discovered the cake: they had been forced to make this change due to issues related to third party brands.

Taking advantage of this, the company also pointed out that in this way the title of the series was more similar to that of the original comic in Spain, although it is true that this must be taken with tweezers since the original name of the comic in our country was always La Visión y la Scarlet Witch - you can see it in the copy you have under these lines from Amazon.
Qualifications aside, the truth is that this fact has caused us to run out of the Wandavision title in Spain. The "guilty" is a film producer and distributor born in 1992 called WandaFilms and that years later evolved into a second firm, Wanda Vision, after a merger of partners. This has prevented Disney from using the same name in Spanish territory, forcing its translation.
