There are only six days left for us to discover how it is the Xiaomi Mi 9 and although the rumors so far leaked have drawn us many of its characteristics, nothing like the confirmation from the CEO himself to outline its benefits 100% before the coming-out. Do you want to know what he told us? Well, keep an eye out and keep reading.
What we know about the Xiaomi Mi 9 by its CEO
As we say, there is a lot of data that we already control about the Mi 9 thanks to its leaks, but Lei Jun, CEO of the company, has been in charge of giving us more details that were either still doubtful or we simply did not know yet.
The first thing the manager wanted to point out is that the Mi 9 has a technology called Game Turbo that by its name you can already imagine what it offers. Indeed, it is a function that improves the gaming experience, intelligently controlling the images and sound of the different scenarios to achieve a more immersive experience for the user. It is not the first time that we have seen a feature like this, highlighting the growing importance that manufacturers are giving to the fact of playing with our mobile phones.
El fingerprint sensor It has also been an aspect commented by Jun. The CEO has explained that its integrated sensor on the screen is a 25% faster than its predecessor, it is prepared for unlocking even in low temperature conditions and will have a kind of "Night mode", able to adjust the brightness of the area when there is low light. This area is now somewhat larger by the way and has been moved up.

Finally we also confirmed something that we didn't want to hear but that in a certain part we suspected. We mean that the Mi 9 will be more expensive than expected. According to Jun, they cannot adjust things as much in their flagships as in other phones in the catalog, since they are committed to new technologies that have required considerable investment in R&D. The manager has not given specific figures (or approximate) but taking into account that the Mi 8 costs 499 euros, the Mi 9 could well surprise us around perhaps 600 or 700 euros.
There will be a Mi 9 Transparent Edition
These statements by the CEO of Xiaomi have not been the only relevant data that have been discovered today about the Mi 9. We have learned, thanks to a company spokesperson, that there will also be a Mi 9 Transparent Edition version which looks as attractive as the transparent version that we already saw in the aforementioned Mi 8.

In addition, official information on the smartphone has been published indicating that the terminal will have HPUE and 4×4 MIMO technology, to improve the signal and coverage, as well as a new equalization app (called Mi Sound), although we do not know if this last quality will only be intended for the Chinese market or globally.
Likewise, the terminal will offer a nfc module SN100T, with higher reading and transaction speed; a dual frequency GPS (combining the L1 and L5 bands to achieve faster and more precise positioning, especially in more complicated places such as tunnels); and an infrared port.
