Honor has introduced two new models, the Honor 9X and 9X Pro. Terminals that offer a good level of power and a motorized camera at a very attractive price. All this with the aim of continuing to penetrate and consolidate its position in the mid-range.
New Honor 9X and 9X Pro, features
After the occasional rumor, Honor has finally presented two new devices that are placed in the mid-range. We refer to the new Honor 9X and 9X Pro, device that attract attention as soon as you see them.
These new proposals from Honor arrive with a design similar to what has been seen in its latest proposals, with quite colorful backs and a series of drawings or patterns that will be seen more or less depending on the light. They are striking and that cannot be denied, although it is also true that it will depend on the personal tastes of each one to opt for one of the variants that it offers.
In said rear, its double and triple rear cameras also stand out depending on whether it is the 9X or 9X Pro model. These cameras are made up of several sensors, the main one being a Sony model that is already beginning to be very popular, the 586MP IMX48. To be exact, the configuration of the rear cameras would be as follows:
- Honor 9X: 48 MP + 20 MP
- Honor 9X Pro: 48 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP
Returning to the front, both devices have a screen of 6,59-inch diagonal IPS LCD and a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels in which there is no notch. This is because the front camera is integrated into a retractable system also seen in other proposals. This camera has a 16 MP sensor with F2.2 aperture.
At the level of internal components, both models have a Kirin 810 processor and different RAM memory configurations. The 9X model offers 4 or 6 GB of RAM and the 9X Pro goes up to 8 GB of RAM. Something similar happens with storage, 64 or 128 GB in the Honor 9X and 128 or 256 GB in the Pro model.
For the rest, both have a USB C connector, a fingerprint reader on the side (a consequence of using an LCD panel), a headphone jack and a 4.000 mAh battery.

These new devices They will start selling from August 8, but for the moment it will only do so in China. This implies that we will have to wait a bit until the official launch in Spain and other countries to know exactly what price they will have.
When changing from Yuan to Euros, the most basic model would cost about $180 approximately, while the Pro model with more RAM and storage would go to about $310. Prices that we assume will increase somewhat when applying taxes and other additional charges. Even so, due to characteristics, design and general benefits they are interesting bets for a very competitive mid-range.
