An Oppo with 10x optical zoom
The camera is still one of the star elements of telephones high-end and Oppo knows it well. That is why it is not surprising that the firm is going to put all the meat on the spit when talking about the photographic capabilities of the phone that will present tomorrow in Beijing (China).
The first rumors about the existence of a phone with 10x optical zoom they come from nothing less than the leaker IceUniverse. He recently assured on his Twitter account that the Asian firm had plans to present a 10x optical zoom for its phones, something that everyone quickly associated with the MWC 2019 fair - it is undoubtedly a good scenario for this type of ads.
However, the billboard of the event that Oppo will celebrate tomorrow, January 16, has made us all think that the presentation in society could end up getting ahead. If you look closely -you have it right on these lines-, in it you can see a kind of 10 (lying down) that could be the clue that indicates the arrival of the expected 10x zoom.
People Android Authority points out that it is quite likely that what Oppo does is present an improved version of its already known Precision Optical Zoom technology, seen in 2017. So what the firm did was show a prototype with a 5x hybrid optical zoom, however, now it could have made the final leap, betting on 10x on a real phone -it wouldn't make much sense to organize a press conference to show something that still cannot be put up for sale, of course.
And what smartphone in particular is it? Well according to MySmartprice, of the Oppo F19 and its vitaminized version F19 Pro, two phones that would also come with a hole in the screen for the location of its front camera -such as the Huawei nova 4 or the Samsung Galaxy A8s- and would include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor to work.
