This prototype of the Galaxy S10 confirms the placement of the double front camera

You may still be determined not to accept the novelty that will include Samsung's next Galaxy S10+, so if you were clinging to a possible design completely different from what we have seen so far, we are sorry to tell you that everything indicates that there is no going back. The dual camera built into the screen, exists.

Photos of Samsung's Galaxy S10+ prototype

The image that is going around the networks comes directly from the factory where the first tests of the terminal are being carried out. The photo in question shows a screen where you can select the test for the front and rear cameras, however, what really matters to us about the photo is an area of the screen. Exactly the upper right corner, a place where the two front cameras that we had heard of and that they will have the necessary gap between the 6,4-inch panel that the S10+ model will have.

Since the terminal in the photo is an internal test model, it does not look exactly like the unit that will arrive in stores. We can see, for example, how the screen is flat (Samsung would not do that at this point) with quite generous side bezels (a curved panel would improve those dimensions), and the front cameras, although they are there, do not enjoy integration into the screen.

The normal thing in these cases is that the prototypes do not have these aesthetic details, unnecessary for the tests and completely irrelevant to verify the performance of the equipment.

We still don't see his back

Unfortunately, the filtered photo is limited to showing the front of the prototype, so we have not yet been able to confirm the distribution that will present the rear cameras on the back of the device. The data leaked so far speaks of a set of four cameras including the LED flash, a distribution that would make a lot of sense considering that it was recently released by the new Galaxy A9.

The difference, however, would be in the orientation, since instead of placing them vertically, the Galaxy S10 + would present a horizontal line of cameras that would cover almost the entire width of the device.

What features will the Samsung Galaxy S10+ have?

For now, the only speculation we can do about it is that the device will have two versions, one with Exynos 9820 and another with Snapdragon 855 (according to markets). The generational leap marks it like this, so the only thing that would remain for us to know is what RAM memory and how much storage it will hide inside, something that is rumored to be 6 GB and 128 GB as basic options respectively. As for the battery, the 6,4 inches will house a battery with 3.700 mAh capacity, a figure slightly less than the 4.000 mAh that many might expect (as is the case with the 4.200 mAh of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro).

In any case, for now it is all conjecture, so we will continue to wait patiently until the manufacturer makes an official statement. Something that probably will not happen until we are close to the Mobile World Congress.
