On one hand, we have Honor View 20, the new device from the Chinese manufacturer that boasts of including the hole for the front camera on the screen, and on the other Galaxy A8s, the proposal of Samsung coming to the Chinese market today.
The first phone with a perforated screen?
We already know that Samsung likes to be the first in everything, and with this technology it was not going to be less. Taking into account that they are a reference in the industry for their screens, it was impossible for Samsung to miss this point, and although it seems that they have achieved it, it is still a fast and troubled movement. Everything is due to the presentation that Honor has made today with your view 20, a terminal that also stands out for offering a hole in the screen, but that will not reach stores until later.
Honor's announcement sounds more like a "hey we're here" announcement from Huawei, so Samsung may have had to speed up its plans and decided to release the Galaxy A8s in a hurry. Hence its exclusivity with the Chinese market.
Features of the Galaxy A8s
The new phone has the style and essence of the brand's current models, with a design that combines glass and metal, and the same details as other mid-range/high-end models of the brand. The front camera is positioned in the upper left corner, and the hole through which it peeks out seems larger than we had imagined.
