Who is Moon Knight?
First, a bit of history to situate us. Initially intended as a villain, but ultimately a hero, Moon Knight is sometimes nicknamed the copy of Batman in Marvel and, at the risk of pissing off some, those who do it are not without reason.
Possessed by the spirit of the god Khonshu, in the comics he has an identity of playboy millionaire, which allows him to fight crime at night, aided by Gadgets, like a moon-shaped leaf, for example. A weapon that has been highlighted on one of the posters and looks nothing like the one batarang.
That die-hard fans insist that, despite all of the above, he is not a copy of Batman.

The truth is that, through the images we have been able to see things similar to the comics and others that are different.
Moon Knight's multiple personalities
In the trailer, the character of Oscar Isaac is addressed by several names, such as Steven and Marc. These refer to Steven Grant, his normal daytime identity, and Marc Spector, the identity of Moon Knight.
This is because he has several conflicting personalities, due to a dissociative disorder, which was made official in the comics and picks up the trailer. This arises especially when you sleep, that's why it appears at the beginning of the teaser not wanting to do it and tying himself up to avoid what happens to him when he closes his eyes.
Where the action of the series takes place
The action It is located in London, although in the comics it is in the United States.
That would imply, for those who have not seen Eternals, or rather, its post-credit scenes, which we would have two gentlemen in the english city. The Black by Kit Harington (Jon Snow in Game of Thrones) and that of Luna by Oscar Isaac.
Y a Blade, Clear. At the moment they are not insinuated and this seems like a origin story Moon Knight, but we'll see if they team up in subsequent seasons.
The importance of the Egyptian
Throughout the trailer we see lots of egyptian symbology. The crocodile on his mobile, a pyramid symbol in a message, images of these monuments and Egyptian gods in the museum. This connects with the origin of the hero and the god Khonshu, of which he is an avatar.
This is the Egyptian god of the Moon and the one who grants powers to Moon Knight.
The god Khonshu himself appears in the trailer
The being that scares the protagonist and makes him go back to the elevator, until an old woman appears, not an enemy, but the god Khonshu himself, his "ally".
With this being an origin story, Steven will have to deal with the conflict of the Marc/Moon Knight personality.
The identity of the main villain
In the trailer we also see the main antagonist, played by Ethan Hawke. Although it is not specified who he is and, in fact, there has even been a bit of debate about it, in reality this is settled.
When subtitles are put, it appears that It's Arthur Crow a character who only appears in one story.
A Nobel candidate scientist, he performs a series of experiments with people he kidnaps, and which are copied from those of the Nazis in Auschwitz. We assume that the series will take some creative liberty by reinterpreting the villain.
Moon Knight's outfit
The trailer ends with Moon Knight beating up what looks like a monster and going to the camera while hero's full outfit revealede.
Shortly before we see how said suit possesses him, wrapping him like bandages of a mummy (his face seems, in fact, mummified), another reference to the Egyptian and mythical origin of his power.
As you can see, there are quite a few juicy details in the trailer. Now to wait for this new heroic incarnation to descend upon us in March.
