A few days from Galaxy Unpacked, Samsung has today published a last-minute online event in which to show its latest product in the family Galaxy. It is the new Galaxy Tab S5e, a very cheap tablet that aims to position itself as the most affordable option in the family of tablets.
Features of the Galaxy Tab S5e
The team arrives with a thickness of 5,5 millimeters and a weight of 400 grams, figures that place it well below the 11-inch iPad Pro, which is 5,9 millimeters thick and weighs 468 grams. This Galaxy Tab S5e it costs only $399, so its price is really tempting for many users. The model is presented as the ideal solution for users looking for a multimedia solution with which to consume videos, play games, surf the Internet and even perform some productive tasks.

Its 7.040 mAh battery promises autonomy of up to 14 and a half hours, and in addition, the device comes equipped with Bixby 2.0, an intelligent assistant with which to interact with the tablet and even control external intelligent devices that we have at home. Its Super AMOLED screen will continue to offer the excellent image quality of its predecessors, and with the idea of encouraging this multimedia profile, the Galaxy Tab S5e comes with a 4-month free subscription to YouTube Premium.

Direct connection to your phone
Another novelty related to software also has to do with the phone. This new Galaxy Tab S5e includes the so-called function Call and Message Continuity, a functionality that will allow you to take the calls and messages you receive on your Samsung phone directly to the tablet, so you don't miss any calls and don't have to keep an eye on another device while you're using the tablet. The functionality requires devices running Android Pie, and is only compatible between Samsung devices.
Price and Availability
This new Galaxy Tab S5e will arrive in Spain from April, and although Samsung has not given details of the price in euros, we do know that the price in dollars will be U.S. dollar 399.
