The video in question takes us to the luxurious neighborhood of Beverly Hills, although the version of the game used is one that is still in development and it is not the final one that we will see in stores. In it, we see one of the six protagonists (zombie killer) of the game, Dani, who will walk through Beverly Hills and Bel-Air in search of new weapons with which to stop the infected.

The objective of our protagonist is to contact the authorities of the Halperin Hotel, an evacuation center located south of Beverly Hills.

As we can see, at the beginning of the game we can see how, in the absence of weapons, Dani uses her reflexes to kill the zombies. You have to dodge and find the right moment to finish off the infected with a deadly blow or movement. But don't think you're going to have to use your fists too much. In Dead Island 2 anything goes to hit, and you can use a golf club as well as a katana that you find hanging on the wall of a mansion. The goal is to get them to stop moving, of course.

A new technology called FLASH (meat) will make the game look bloodier and funnier at the same time. The key is that this system will allow dismemberment of all kinds, being able to apply damage to enemies of all kinds, from muscle cuts and unimaginable dismemberment, to burns that melt zombies.

As they point out in the video, these dismemberments are not only a way to make the game more visually fun, but it will also serve as a strategy point to attack enemies at their weak points.

Another of the many possible combinations are the customization cards for our character. With these cards we will grant different abilities that will be reflected in the behavior, since we will be able to define modes of defense, attack and other abilities that will determine the way in which we will play with our character.

As if that were not enough, we will also have the possibility of using the "rampage mode” caused by the corrupted DNA of zombie slayers. Our character will behave for a few moments like a zombie, being able to sentence our enemies with blows. This mode is activated by pressing both analog sticks simultaneously.
