Ubisoft has finally presented its long-awaited Far Cry 6. A new adventure set in Wound, a Caribbean region dominated by the dictator's oppressive regime Anton Castillo, who together with his son Diego, keep the people at their mercy. Your mission is none other than to put yourself in the shoes of Daniel Rojas (as a male character or female character), and put an end to Castillo's dominance.
Pure Far Cry
When we start out in a Far Cry we expect a colorful open world, very dynamic, with lots of weapons, vehicles and lots and lots of fun. Well, that is exactly what seems to await us in the Yara domain, where several guerrilla groups will make things difficult for us on more than one occasion with the intention of blocking access to the capital, where Castillo is located.
By default, Dani Rojas will be presented as a female character, although the player will be able to define the gender at the start of the game. As you progress through the game, we'll unlock new weapons, abilities, and we'll be able to customize our arsenal and the vehicles we use, giving life to really crazy modifications.

In the previous installments of Far Cry we have seen spectacular custom weapons, but what they have prepared with Far Cry 6 directly exceeds our expectations. To the already classic personalized weapons with bizarre touches, we must add the so-called Supreme backpacks, some modifications that you will carry on your back and that will allow you to enjoy flamethrowers, grenade launchers and even a jetpack with which to rise above the ground.
But if there is something that users will fall in love with, it is the one known as Discos Locos, a CD launcher that to the rhythm of the mythical Macarena will shoot at enemies in the purest Unreal style. This modified weapon will be in charge of damaging our enemies to the rhythm of the music, and although we don't know if we will be able to select music to our liking, doing it to the rhythm of Macarena seems more than enough.

When is Far Cry 6 released?
After seeing the presentation videos and the entire arsenal of weapons that we will have available, you will surely be thinking about when we will finally be able to get our hands on the new installment that Ubisoft has prepared for us. Well, Far Cry 6 will hit stores and the corresponding digital stores next October 7. It will be available on Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Stadia, Amazon Luna and on PC exclusively through the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store (it will also be available on the Ubisoft+ subscription service).
All those players who pre-order Far Cry 6 will have access to the Libertad Pack, which includes the Libertad outfit for the Chorizo puppy (the adorable dachshund that will accompany us on our adventure) and the Discos Locos weapon, and those looking for limited editions will be able to get with the Lions of Yara figure from UbiCollectibles.
