As every year, EA wants to gain new followers for its virtual tournaments, and there is nothing better way to do it than by giving away stamps. Yes, FIFA Tokens are back, and this year we will have to keep swallowing hours of direct on Twitch to be able to obtain tokens that we will later exchange for envelopes.
How FGS Tokens work
The operation of all this is quite simple. EA organizes its EA Sports Cup tournament, the official cup of the FIFA 23 Global Series that will bring together the best players in the world around FIFA 23. This tournament will be held over the next 4 months on certain already established dates, and little by little fewer players will remain until the champion is known.
The tournament is made up of four groups with 5 teams each, among which we will find DUX Gaming, Fnatic, Riders, Team Heretics or the official teams PSG, Manchester City and Ajax.
All these games will be broadcast live through the EA official Twitch channel (some days can also be seen on YouTube) every Monday until January 21, and simply by tuning in and watching at least 60 minutes of broadcast, you can win a token.
Depending on the number of Tokens you get, you can get more or less interesting envelopes. These are the Tokens you need to redeem to get the different rewards:
- 1 tokens: Premium Gold Pack
- 2 tokens: On Premium Gold Players
- 3 tokens: About Top Gold Players
- 4 tokens: Jumbo Unique Players Pack
But in order for EA to know that you are watching the matches, you need to link your EA account to your Twitch account. Do you want to know how to do it?
How to link Twitch and EA accounts
With the idea that you can get the rewards without problems and only watching 60 minutes of the game, we are going to leave you with the necessary steps that you have to complete to get them:
For Twitch:
- The first thing you should do is have a Twitch account. By now you should already have it knowing the benefits that exist in Prime Gaming, but if you don't have it you can create one from the official website or from the official Android and iOS application.
- Once you have your Twitch account, you will need to link it to your EA account. Surely you have an EA account, because if you play FIFA you must have created one to manage your FUT profile from the companion App and always have your profile safe. To link both accounts visit the following link and follow the steps to log in to both services.
For YouTube:
- Access the following link to enter the "Connected Applications" section of your YouTube profile
- Click on the Connect button next to the Electronic Arts option
- Enter your EA account details and finish linking both accounts.

Where are they redeemed?
Once you start having Tokens, you will only have to go to the section of Squad Building Challenges in Ultimate Team, and select the tab «Exchanges«. There you will have the 4 template challenges available, in which you simply have to deposit the cards you have obtained. It is important that you know that all the challenges are repeatable, and since you will have 11 broadcasts available, you could redeem 2 times the challenge of the 4 necessary cards and one of the 3 card challenge to obtain great rewards.
