The machine of rumors and conspiracies about GTA 6 was not going to stop working in 2021, and there are already some users who claim to have found new references around the highly anticipated new Rockstar installment. The question is, are these the first official GTA VI tracks? Or are we in on some crazy new mindless idea?
An Easter egg in Cayo Perico
The clues come from the last update, Cayo Perico. As you probably know, the new update for GTA Online introduced an island that the player would have to assault alone or in a team to destroy the army that dominates it and get to the loot that is hidden inside.
This update has brought many new features in the form of weapons, vehicles and extra missions, and it seems that among all this content some elements are hidden in the form of Easter egg which could mean something. Or that at least is what the Reddit user has understood Fabry06, that after receiving the Panther jacket completely free for participating in the 100 billion coup challenge, he discovered how the garment hid a somewhat peculiar secret message.
The message on the jacket
Said add-on, which only those players who participated in the 100 billion coup received for free, had a drawing of a diamond and the number 4 on its front, while on the back you can read the message “Hostes Ad Pulverem Ferire”.
It is precisely this message that has raised the suspicions of the most astute, since, as fabry06 has indicated, said message can be found in GTA Vice City, GTA Vice City Stories and in GTA San Andreas as a reference to Vice City.
Reasonable similarities
As if that were not enough, many other users are finding certain similarities between a character introduced in Cayo Perico and González, one of the enemies that appear in GTA: Vice City. His goatee and especially his floral shirt in orange tones have managed to raise the eyebrow of more than one user who has shouted from the four winds that it is a suspicious resemblance between characters.
Is this an intentional hint?
The question that remains now is whether this message is a clue left by the developers intentionally or if it is simply a resource from previous editions that has been used as filler for the latest update. If it were the first, it would confirm many of the suspicions that many fans have, since there is talk of a possible return to Vice City in the new GTA VI, although the possibility of handling different times also sounds.
