There is little more than a month left before we can insert the disk of The Last of Us Part 2 at our PlayStation 4, and it seems that during all this waiting Sony wants to keep us distracted with a series of videos in which we can delve a little deeper into the game without anticipating any detail that could burst the story and the odd surprise.
Knowing the story better
The company has prepared four videos with which it will introduce various topics with which to continue increasing the expectation for the game. First of all, they have decided to release a video in which they go back and go a little deeper into the events that define the main plot of the story.
In it, Ellie only wants to take her revenge on a tragic event that has occurred in the town of Jackson, a small city that resists as an isolated fortress of infected. At the beginning of the video, Neil Druckman talks about the difficulty of releasing a second part of a game with as much success as The Last of Us. He is partly right, and it is that surpassing what the first installment achieved will be difficult, however, for this they have a very good story.
Life in Jackson
That is what they have transmitted with this video, where they explain how the relationship between Ellie and Joel will be much stronger, and where we can also see other types of relationships with other characters that we will discover in the story. We now know that at the start of the game Ellie is 19 years old, and she lives in a society that has endured the infectious outbreak for 25 years.
Life in Jackson is quiet as far as goes, and Joel has even quit his job as a bounty hunter. But something happens and disrupts everything. Ellie will seek revenge, and you will be the one to help her get it. For that we will travel to Seattle, a city where two factions fight for the available resources and that Ellie will try to avoid at all costs.
According to Druckmann, the story will raise some questions for us, perhaps due to the actions and decisions taken in the middle of the game, so we will probably have a lot to talk about when we are playing it.
The next videos
Unfortunately we still have to wait a bit until the next 19 June we can start the game, so in the meantime, you will have to keep writing down the dates of the next videos that will explain other aspects of the game. They are the following:

The Last of Us Part 2 will be the great work that closes the stage of PlayStation 4 before the imminent arrival of PlayStation 5 to the market. Everything indicates that it will be the perfect finishing touch for an incredible generation and that it will join the list of best ps4 games that we will have to play before making the jump to PS5, so hold on tight, emotions are coming that are not forgotten.
