Jabra Elite 75T, really comfortable headphones

During the last few weeks I have been able to test the Jabra Elite 75T, True Wireless in-ear headphones that have surprised me. Especially since one always ends up looking at the usual options from Apple, Sony or some other smartphone manufacturer, forgetting that there are still interesting options on the market that are worth discovering.

Small and very comfortable

When you see Jabra's proposal, the first thing you think is that you already know them. At the design level they do not contribute anything really new, they are True Wireless and in-ear type. So you practically intuit what you are going to find. Even so, when you start using them things change.

It is true that they are still a proposal only for those who do not usually have problems with in-ear headphones, although I would dare to say that they are more comfortable and secure than many others. because barely weigh 35 grams and because they are somewhat smaller than other options. That is why I feel that they hold better and do not generate that feeling of insecurity when thinking that with some movement a little more abrupt than normal they are going to fall off.

As I say, with three types of silicone tips available, once you find the size that best fits your ear they are light and comfortable to use even during long periods of use. They are also available in three colors (titanium black, black and gold beige).

They seem attractive to me, although the personal preferences of each one will undoubtedly enter into this assessment. Regarding the rest of the details, each of the headphones integrates a physical button. No tactile solutions with which it is sometimes difficult to know if it has been pressed or not correctly. Of course, the negative part of this proposal is that we do not know how it will resist the passage of time, by number of pulsations and by the possible dirt that may be introduced. Although the brand indicates that they include protection IP55 to be resistant to dust and a constant low pressure water jet.

Lastly, The size of the case is another of its strong points.. It is very small, just enough to store the two headphones and integrate everything related to the charging system and the battery that offers up to three times the playback time of the headphones. Ah, once you open the case you check that the headphones are secure and do not fall out thanks to the built-in magnet system.

A remarkable user experience

La experience of use with these Jabra Elite 75T I have found it to be remarkably high, but first let's talk about its application. An app available for both Android and iOS and that offers more options than usual in proposals of this type. Because it will not only serve to facilitate pairing or update your software, but also to access tools that allow you to customize the sound such as your equalization settings or a mode that analyzes how you hear to configure each headset for each person. But let's go in parts.

The application's interface is very simple, although so many first-rate options can overwhelm those who have never paid attention to these apps. But after a few minutes you quickly become familiar. And no, you won't be using it every day, but it is worth investing some time in it so that the user experience and sound quality is even better. Especially if you are one of those who prefer to equalize their headphones.

It is true that the preset configurations may not be entirely convincing, but manually you can raise or lower the frequencies you want to enhance or not their reproduction.

According to the option to customize the sound, this works simply. Just find a place with little noise and start the test. When you hear the beeps, press on the screen and once the process is finished for both the left and right earphones, the application will take care of applying a series of adjustments with the idea of offering a personalized experience to your hearing needs.

By the way, the sensors that stop or start playback when you take them off or put them back on work great. So much so that it is one of the devices of this type that I have personally tested and that they do better. Like I say, it's worth looking into the app's options because there's even an option to locate your headphones if you lose them.

And now yes, let's talk about the sound quality. Here I admit that it is difficult to compete and convince the user that they are a great option when they are accustomed to headband-type proposals, with larger, more powerful, quality transducers and where the pad that completely covers the ear helps an experience more satisfying. Even so, the sound in these Jabra Elte 75T is very well balanced in the entire frequency range.

It is possible that a little more marked bass could be useful, but with the equalization options you can take advantage of a little more so that the sound has more body. So, with all kinds of multimedia content, you are going to enjoy the experience they offer a lot. And although they do not have an active noise cancellation system, the passive cancellation that they offer by their own design means that if you listen at a more or less high volume, you can isolate yourself from the rest of the sound that surrounds you.

So much so that the headphones include a function called HearThrouhg so that you can hear what is around you when, for example, you are in public places such as airports or cafes where you need to be aware of possible calls or information that interests you.

Finally, the autonomy that I have enjoyed with these headphones is around 6 hours of use on a single charge. The case allows for three additional charges, so if we do the calculations, we would have 24 hours of music. Although you will have to take breaks between loading and loading. The good thing is that it offers a fast charging option and that allows you to have almost an hour of guaranteed playback in about 15 minutes.

A good alternative if the rest does not convince you

Choosing True Wireless headphones is starting to be as complicated as choosing which smartphone to buy. Everything will depend a lot on the budget of each one, also on the devices you use in your day to day and if this type of True Wireless is comfortable for you or not. But if you can afford the $179 that cost and that you adapt well to its design (mainly that they don't fall off) seem to me to be a good alternative to other models.

The strong points are clearly the comfort and proper functioning in terms of connection and disconnection between devices. In addition, by being able to stay connected to two devices at the same time, switching from one to the other as you play content on each of them is almost immediate.

Do you hit? Well, beyond what you yourself have already been able to identify and the price, although it can be found with some discount that makes it more competitive, I would say that the same they could have built in active noise cancellation. Although seeing its performance, it is not that it is something essential.
