Where does Jason Bourne come from?
The saga of Jason Bourne is a literary product, the work of Robert Ludlum, and which It hit bookstores in 1980.. Who is Jason Bourne?
Jason Bourne is a former CIA agent who suffers an incident and, injured, He is confined to a hospital bed. Upon awakening, he realizes that he absolutely does not remember, he does not know who he is, so he will start a race to discover him and, also, to identify the murderers who are chasing him. That is the starting point of a hero (or almost) that right now has been played by two actors.
Richard Chamberlain got into the skin of Jason Bourne in a little-remembered adaptation from 1988, just eight years after the publication of the first novel. It is a representation Old-fashioned: suit and tie, always elegant, without a single stain and methods much more refined than those of his natural heir, who we were going to meet in 2002.
Indeed, Matt Damon is the Jason Bourne we have in mind, the one who starred in four of the five films that between 2002 and 2016 hit theaters with the new approach to the character. He is younger (or so he appears), more violent and expeditious and, like many heroes of the time, vulnerable: unlike Richard Chamberlain's character, he gets his hands dirty if necessary to get out of any situation he finds himself in. .
We can't say that Jeremy Renner played the ex-agent because he didn't. His character is called Aaron Cross. but it has a link with the protagonist of the films because we will know that, within the lore of the saga, it was created with a super-soldier program similar to the one that made Jason Bourne come true. He has only starred in one film, in 2012, which is The Bourne Legacy.

The Bourne Supremacy (2004)
