Star Wars: this is the amount that has been paid for Han Solo's blaster

Han Solo.

We are clear that everything that touches Star Wars turns to gold, right? Especially if it is an iconic object that appeared in the early stages of the galactic saga back in 1977, when the now renamed Episode IV: A New Hope and that he took us by the hand to a galaxy far, far away. Do you remember that little modified pistol of a scoundrel smuggler what was in the movie?

Han Solo and his gun

The fact is that that little pistol that would eventually become General Solo, It has been auctioned through the Rock Island Auction house and where all those fans with a lot of money have been able to choose to take them home. The problem is that in the end the price went crazy and the expected forecasts for the object were widely exceeded by reality.

From the auction house they calculated that the famous Han Solo blaster would reach a final price of between 300.000 and 500.000 dollars, which in the end was very, very far from what was achieved: $1.057.000. That is, practically double the most enthusiastic forecast.

This gun is the same one that was used in the filming of the galaxy wars in the 70s and has as its official name "Heavy Blaster Pistol DL-44". In fiction, he can shoot laser beams capable of penetrating the armor of one of those imperial soldiers who stalked the rebels for so many years. Although if you look at her coldly, you will see a worn-out pistol to which they have added elements as exotic as a telescopic sight (?) and a kind of funnel pierced in the muzzle of the cannon.

An iconic character from the saga

You don't need to remember that Han Solo is portrayed in all three of the original Han Solo movies. The Wars by actor Harrison Ford, who gave life to the charismatic smuggler and, later, husband of Princess Leia and father of Ben Solo in Episodes VII and IX where the circle of his character is closed.

Han Solo.

In all adventures Han Solo was accompanied by his famous blaster which has now been auctioned although it must be said that the one that has been sold now is exclusively the one that was used during the filming of the film released in 1977. It is to be imagined that in subsequent deliveries, the Lucasfilm production team preferred to renew the Props in those cases where an improvement is needed or a change justified by the script is needed, such as putting or removing the telescopic sight, shortening it or placing it in a different place each time.

En Solo, the film that tells us the origins of the myth starring Alden Ehrenreich, the character also appears attached to his famous blaster in one of the most characteristic poses that we can remember of the character and that led him to draw his holster first and ask questions later. Or do you not remember the incident in the Mos Eisley cantina when at good Solo has no choice but to use it against Greedo?

Now we know that someone will enjoy it every day admiring it hanging on the wall of their house, right?
